This listing is for a MADE TO ORDER leather bound journal with my Sirens of the Swamp etching.
I have acid etched this very detailed illustration, hand cut and filed the pendant, and then given it a patina for contrast and aging. All etchings have been given a wax coating, with lavender oil, to help keep their patina in place. It is then fastened onto the journals cover.
The journal is a thick, durable leather (in either black or dark brown leather). It contains unlined pages, perfect for whatever you need to jot down.
It is also very easy to remove the pages when you have filled in the notebook and just put a new pad of paper inside, and keep the cover and etching in rotation for a lifetime.

This piece has been given a patina for contrast, but as this piece is worn, it will grow with you. Your oils and the environment you subject it too will give it is own natural, ever changing patina. It will become an extension of you as it travels with you on your path.

Details
The journal measures 4 1/2" across, 6" tall, and 1 1/8" thick.
The pendant measures roughly 2 1/2" across by 4" tall.
I attach the etching on the four corners of the piece.
You are given the option for black or dark brown leather for the journal.
For the etching, you have the choice in metal for copper, brass, or nickel silver.

Because this piece is made to order, please allow up to 6 weeks for delivery.
