The Gilded Solstice Sand Dollar Drops
These beauties are really special. They are made to immortalize a sand dollar I collected on the summer solstice on my yearly motorcycle trip, so they are packed with a lot that really powerful energy.
I’ve hand cast the texture of the sand dollar in fine silver, and then used the ancient Korean technique of Keum-Boo to gild the center bar of the sand dollar arm with 24k gold. Then the piece is capped by an arch of 14k GF wire, that holds hand formed sterling silver earring hooks. Simple, striking, full of magic. ✨

Sizing details
The earrings measure 1 1/4" long and around 1/2" at their widest, from the top of the GF arch, to the base of the piece. And just shy of 2" long from the top of the earring hook to the base of the earring.
The hand formed sterling silver ear wires are made with 18g wire.
They weigh approximately .14oz a piece .
