These studs! Swoon! Earlier this year a dear old friend of mine hopped on my custom's list and came to me with an idea she had for a pair earrings, made of Turquoise and owl talons. I'll admit at first the idea seemed a little out of the ordinary, turns out it was, but in the best way possible. They are some of my favorite earrings I've made to date! And it seemed like y'all agreed, so I brought them back in swamp form!
 
This set of studs are hand fabricated in sterling silver, with pieces of swampy green and brown Kingman Turquoise stones. The stones are edged by stamped and raised details. Then, solid fine silver alligator talons hang arched off the pieces.  The posts and post backs are also sterling silver.
 
The stud pendant measures 5/8" wide, and roughly 1 3/4" long, the posts are  .
Each earring weighs roughly .25 oz .
