This listing is for a ONE OF A KIND ring inspired by The Palmetto Bracelet from the Magic of the Swamp - LIGHT Collection.

This ring is my tribute to the "Dwarf Palmetto Plant".

Very few images lend you to immediately think of swamp walks and ducking rainstorms quite like the palmetto plant. Maybe that is because I've had to bunker beneath them more times than I can count, but palmetto leaves are a bit of a safety blanket for me.

Made of all sterling silver, I hand cut and textured two large palmetto leaves to showcase this incredible piece of moss agate. I even rolled a feather into the sterling silver as the initial texture base for the leaves, and to give the piece even more magic.  I've made an ornate base for the stone, that I hand sawed the back out of, to allow the light to sneak in through the stone and show off all of the incredible layers in this piece of moss agate. They all rest on a thick hand cut band, which I have stamped designs into. A light layer of patina has been added to heighten the contrast of this piece, it was given a cypress oil and wax coating to help keep it in place and to satisfy the senses of smells from the swamp.
