The Palmetto Pin
This listing is for a ONE OF A KIND pin, inspired by my Magic of the Swamp - LIGHT Collection. An ode to the Palmetto Plant.
An oval shaped "Lichen Stone", containing a very vibrant green piece of Wolf Lichen is set under glass in a serrated bezel. It is based by a hand cut piece of sterling silver shaped like a Dwarf Palmetto Palm frond, the metal itself was pressed with a found feather to give it added textre. It was then given a patina to bring out those details, and to give the piece an antiqued look. Then given a lavender oil and wax coating to keep the patina in place and satisfy the senses.

This pin measures 5/8" wide, and 7/8" tall.
It comes with a single central pin back setting, with a pull lock pin back for extra security, to insure you will never lose your new heirloom handmade pin <3

As a side note, due to the natural and delicate nature of the lichen it is not recommended to wear this pin underwater/give it access to prolonged wear in moisture. The setting will come to you air tight, however over time with constant wear stones on all pieces may shift, and it is always wise to not press ones luck and allow delicate and treasured pieces to receive only minimal time in the elements.
