The Dueling Scorpion Hoops

Made to honor the enchantment of the desert, a large hoop earring, in a crescent design, made out of 10g sterling silver, houses your choice of warm earth colored stone resting in serrated bezels, with a roped border, framed on either side by intricate, indiviually hand "cast" fine silver scorpions, from scorpions a friend found in nature and gifted me. ✨
They can be made in either "Weight" style for gauged ears, or, with 18g hook closures for standard ears (which can also be worn through tunnels).
The earrings are given a patina to give them an antiqued, high contrast look, and then brought to a nice shine.

* The hoops measure 2 1/2" in diameter, and are made of 10g round wire.
* If you choose the "hook closure" option, the wire used is 18g sterling silver.
* The Black Onyx, Goldstone, and Tiger's Eye stone cabs are 1/2"w x 3/4"t. The Pyrite is 3/8"w x 5/8"t. The Baby Blue Kingman Turquoise are 12mm rounds. The Dark Blue/Copper Inclusion Kingman Turquoise stones, as well as the Greren Kingman Turquoise stones are both 10 X 14mm oval stones.
** The "weights" weigh an average of about .82oz a piece, and the "hook closure" sets weigh an average of .74oz a piece. So please be aware, that even for standard ears, these are heavier earrings. **

Because this piece is made to order, please allow 6 - 8 weeks for delivery. I strive to get custom orders finished within a couple weeks, but if I need to order more metals, or there is a long queue ahead of your order, it may take as long as 8 weeks - if it is time sensitive feel free to ask ahead of time for a more accurate timeline!
